Eagle on the ice

This eagle was having lunch on this chunk of ice I saw him coming a mile up river and took a few as he came down

The Eagle looks a little weird. Did you use the sharpen tool on the photo? Looks a little pixelated around the edges. Maybe it's my eyes or monitor.

Good eye to see the eagle on the ice! Have you tried a closer crop, or does the image pixelate too much if you try that?

thanks, these pictures were taken with a Sony H2 I probably took a hundred pictures of this eagle these are as they came out of the camera no editing, I am still learning but I thought it was just neat to see the eagle ride the ice down the Missouri River it was in good condition I watched it fly and have several of it in the air, I host these on photobucket I still am learning but I think lose some of the quality in doing so

like I said these are right out of the camera, here it flew for me but soon went back to his ice chunk and dinner
