Ahhh! I took the D610 to Savannah with me over the weekend. I only had the nifty fifty with me, so I did the best I could, but I love this thing, especially in indoor low light settings. It's a tad bigger than the D7100, so I like the way it handles more. I have a preset that I use for my Easter photos, and it includes a soft vignette. 
Here's a comparison between the D610 and D7100 just for chits and giggles that I took last Easter and this Easter.
D610 2015:
D7100 2014:
Is one better than the other? Absolutely not. The pp is a different between the two, and the D7100 is a bit more saturated because of it, but the bottom line is that they're both great cameras and each has its own use.
And an extra. This is an old revolutionary war and civil war magazine room in a coastal fort. It's a bonus because no people are in here.
