Thanks for all the tips I've been working a ton so I haven't been to the mosquito pit lately. Tomorrow is my big day in the woods so I'm gonna dig out the bracelet thingie and give it a go... the heat and humidity sure hasn't helped anything.. still live your bear, Steve

Steve, this is a nice shot of a black bear in its natural habitat enjoying a vegetarian meal . How far away was the bear, or better yet, how close did you have to get for this image?

CC, my gawd man, you look like you hung out a sign that said "Here I am, come and get me." I got one of those battery-operated repellant things with a little fan in it and it seems to cover me with the DEET "aura" - not really sure what it actually does, but so far this summer it has worked very well.

Love the Bear photo! a wild bear is one on my bucket list yet.
Mosquitos? I use a "Thermecell" You can find them in most sporting goods/Hunting stores . Refills can be found at Home Depot .
