The money never belonged to the seller anyway. The description on eBay says they got it at an estate auction or similar. It does also say that everything is sold as-is and that there are no returns.

Seller is a dumbass for not getting the combination and seeing what was in it, buyer is a dumbass for telling seller what was in it. :lol:
 
The more underlying question here is why the heck did the woman sell the safe? If I had a safe, I'd definitely not sell it.

I might put valuables in it, though :lmao:

If he bought it at an estate auction, it was his. If he bought it at a garage sale, it was his. If he bought it at a flea market, it was his. If he bought it during the filming of Storage Wars, it was his.
