The foreground is too dark for my tastes, the boulders just stand out out a black background.

This has almost a posterized look, there doesn't seem to be much subtlety of tones and yet nothing too muh of interest as a silhouette.

I'm afraid this is a miss for me.

I like the shot. Your processing is just too dark with loss of midtones. Very quick curve adjustment with masking of the sky helped even the jpeg. (IMO)

Worth going back and reprocessing the RAW file for sure.
