We were at the edge of the eclipse field, so no ring of fire, but this was my view. ND400 was not dark enough to capture the eclipse directly, and I value my eyes (and camera), but I love how the pattern comes through the leaves of the trees.

I did this trick once, some years back - it really works great!

Thanks! Yep, I discovered this anomaly a few years back as well. Why look at a single eclipse, when you can look at multiple eclipse at the same time?
