Edinburgh and A friend of mine (3photos)

I'm new to this forum and would like some general feedback on some of my photography. I'll be heading off to university next year (hopefully, haha) so critique is quite welcome as I am looking to potentially be putting these into a portfolio. :blushing:

I love the first and last photo.

If you don't mind me asking, roughly what time of day did you shoot the first picture? I love the blues (with clouds) and the rich greens. Very good detail too.

What kind of camera are you using?

The first one was shot around 3 in the afternoon,
and I am using a Canon EOS Rebel XTi

The first would be nicer if the horizon was straight though.

I know someone would chime in with the straight horizon thing.

I like it though, it gives the sky a 3D environment mapped look.
