Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So
Are there lamps/light bulbs to use when editing at night?
I really can tell a difference when I edit at night vs during the day. My office gets so much natural light during the day it is wonderful! But at night, eggghhh, I have to turn on 3 different lamps to see anything.

Thanks guys for all your help!

At night, when I edit, I have to obviously turn on the lamp in the room. The lighting makes the photos look so much different then in the day.

Some of the newer spyder screen calibrators (Eg the spyder 3) have a mode where they detect and actively monitor/change the calibration of your screen based on the ambient lighting in the room.
Otherwise block out all the natural light during the day and always work under the artifical light

That is basically what I do. I keep the blinds closed and use my ceiling lights in the room. There is a diffuser on the ceiling light and the glow is very even, no reflections at all. But...I had this lighting before I started editing.
