EF 50mm - 1.8STM lens ( ask )

How is this lens ? anyone try this yet
are they take picture really good ?

alot command said this lens work like
full frame

the 50mm 1.8 STM doesn't work like full frame but for $99 (refurb) it's pretty good

Something is lost in translation.

It is an APS-C/crop sensor lens, NOT a lens for a full frame camera.
A 50mm lens on a Canon crop camera has the same field of view as an 80mm (short tele) lens on a FF camera.

Actually, it is a lens for a full frame, but works also with APS-C. ( EF lenses work on APS-C cameras as well as EFS )I love the lens for my FF and APS-C. Lets in a lot of light. It's not a prime I would have chosen for APS-C. as I am too close to my subject in places where I can't back up.

No problem. It was my goof using it on an APS-C camera to photograph a parade.

This was our Christmas parade last December. I was standing on the edge of the road and couldn't get all of the floats. Lost of light, tho, without using a flash.
