egret, mockingbird, red bellied woodpecker, and a funny little bird

here is the funny little bird, I think it might be a wren. I was disappointed after a little walk in the swamp. the water level was very high, it was flooding the lower board walk. there were a lot of people making noise. anyways, I just took the time to shoot the bottom of this tree just for fun, then this little bird came out of its house inside to see what was going on.

a red bellied woodpecker likes this seed as well. when it arrives it pokes at all the other smaller birds to leave.

Beautiful shots, all! Something about that first shot I just especially like; I think it's because of the whole scene and you almost don't even notice the little bird at first.
And I agree, I think that's a Winter Wren. It *could* be a House Wren, but my vote is Winter Wren.

ahh thanks for that, after searching it seems that you are correct on the winter wren. makes me think, what does a winter wren do in the summer??? ha
