Elakala Falls in B&W

I was playing around with editing a shot of Elakala falls that I took the other day, and just for kicks, I tried a B/W conversion of it. What are your thoughts? You can contrast it with the color version here. http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/landscape-cityscape/290769-elakala-falls.html I think I like this version.

What are your thoughts?

Whether color or monochrome, I think I don't like the crop. I wish I could see more trees and sky above the bridge.

I like this shot. I love the reflections in the pool of the blurred falls.
The composition is a good balance as far as I'm concerned. If you pull back too far, you lose impact.

Thanks for the comments guys. The sky was pretty overcast that day and there really wasn't much detail to glean from the sky. You would either have the sky or the water from where I was with a 10-20mm and the water was much more interesting that day.
