Elements Question

I have CS3 and Lightroom that I use frequently, Lightroom mostly. I have never used Elements. Is there any need for Elements?

Is there anything it does or does better than the other two?

Elements is just 'Photoshop Lite'. A trimmed down, user friendly version of Photoshop.
So if you know how to use the Photoshop that you have, there is no need for Elements.
