Looking at what Photokina has to offer this year and I must admit for anyone that isn't invested in a system already and want to get a good camera the offerings can get very confusing.
So many good and impressive cameras are out there, point and shoot, bridge, mirrorless, DSLR, cell phones with good capabilities.
Not sure if flooding the market with so many different systems, companies, standards is good or bad.
On one side you got Nikon and Canon that pretty much stick to their guns keeping close their DLSR and then you have all the others trying to pull the market to mirrorless or very capable smartphones.
It will be very interesting to see where the market will go in the next few years and who will be the king of the hill or maybe it will be like the car market, many different models, sizes, brands and prices and everybody chooses what suits him/her.
