Definitely not my favorite set, but these were a couple that I liked. I shot at 10am on a sunny day, so finding good light was a struggle. I'm very used to shooting in late afternoon/early evening. I don't know how to avoid a blown sky in these conditions. Oh well. The train one with the blown sky was one of the clients favorite!

Unless youre using an off camera flash - theres no way to not blow out the sky and get usable photos. Just not going to happen.

i have to agree for the most part....to get better at such shooting though just go out at such times of day and take shots....thats all i can reccomend

You know what's interesting, that guy has sort of a fat face ( for lack of a better term ), yet in the first pic it looks a lot thinner.
It must be something to do with the pose or the angle of the shot. I am interested in that as it would be very nice to know how to shoot people ( especially women ) , to make them look thinner )

It's an engagement shoot but it looks like he is already wearing a ring in the last one? Nice pics by the way. I like your poses.

Yes indeed- they are already married! They are personal friends of mine. They did not care for their actual engagement photos.
