equipment needed for setting up at a craft show to do instant printing....

I have been asked to set up a photo booth like setup at a local craft show for MS WALK in April, I was wondering what I needed excatly to be able to take the photos and be able to print them right there and give them to the customers. I have a Nikon D7000, the cheaper the set up the better because I won't be doing this much just need something that will work for the MS walk to donate the proceeds!

Tether the camera to a laptop and then connect a printer to the laptop.

Do I have to use lightroom? I tried searching for info on it and they said u need lightroom...I wont do any editing to the image. I have photoshop but not lightroom yet..

If you're shooting in RAW you will need to edit the image, working from shot-print to shot-print then photoshop will be fine, you won't need the browsing capabilities that Lightroom has. Lightroom is very good but not essential.

No you don't have to use Lightroom, but you do have to use software that supports tethering your D7000 to a computer.

Works pretty well. You send the photos to a folder and print from there. Shoot jpeg fine and print straight away.

If you aren't looking to purchase the software, Get the free trial of lightroom, It will do everything you need, then after the show you can decide if you really want to buy it or not. Another piece of software i have heard about (but don't own) is called Capture One. It sounds like it might do that, but i don't know for sure
