not your garden-variety vacation pics #6, the harbor almost has a tilt-shift effect going on.

It actually was tilt-shifted, I was experimenting with that "look like a miniature" effect. Thanks for your comments.

by blurring selectively or with a tilt-shift lens?

Two gradient layers with -100 sharpness in Lightroom, and some bumps to saturation and contrast. I don't own a TS lens, never shot enough architecture, but after this trip I'm considering one, as the 24-70 and 16-35 have their shortfalls for shooting architecture.
