Every man challenge

I went to every man challenge which is a side event to the main event King of the Hammers in Johnson valley California. Heres some shots from the day. C&C is appreciated.

Not bad, but they appear a little static; this is a result of shooting at 1/500 sec, which tends to freeze movement. If you want to show a sense of movement try lowering your shutter-speed and panning with the vehicle as it goes by (sorry, I can't find an example of panning), or even just showing some wheel-movement like this:

This was (IIRC) 1/80 second.

Thanks for the advice. I always forget to try panning while out somewhere and when i come home I remember. I tend to end up watching what's going on more than takeing pictures.
