Hmmm, they are not so soft that they are unsalvageable. In the second set, the kicked up dirt shot seems to want to be a horizontal. With a little sharpening and tweaking this image looks good to me. Of course I am working with the low res web version, so you should be able to pull off some nice stuff with your originals.
