experimenting with flashes and skateboarder

So here's the deal with this shot, I put the camera on a tripod facing the bench at f22 for 30 seconds. The skateboarder did the same trick 2 different times, and on each one I moved to a different spot and shot off a flash at him. I was so excited with the concept that I forgot he was wearing really dark clothing so he's floating almost, but I dig it kinda.

Tell me what you think please. As long as it's constructive, I want to hear it!

Oh and here's a picture of a my cat that I just printed today, It scanned sepia, but I kinda like it that way.

Yes, it has a very cool effect! It looks like he is dancing in the dark. It makes me want to see it in a different angle, like from the side where you can see more of his shadow.

Your cat picture is very nice, too. I like how you positioned the main subject to the left.:thumbup:
