so i took a photo i liked and i applied filters to it and edited to my liking, but i have no idea if these work.

general feedback on your thoughts when you view these are appreciated. c/c is also welcome!

I like the fourth pic the most. Now you should go back in and brush some color in.

#1 #5 seem to have a very bright splotch at the subject's left side neck, which is pretty distracting.

#2 is rather smudgy and indistinct.

#s 3 and 4 have excellent potential as commercial illustrative techniques. I've seen techniques such as this in magazines teaching Adobe Illustrator techniques and magazines showing off various illustrator's work.

I like jas00n_86's idea about painting back in some color, possibly using #3?
