Eye-Fi x2

Has anyone used any of the Eye-Fi cards? It seems like a cheap way to tether wirelessly but I have heard mixed reviews. Its no CCPro but it looks interesting.

No, but I have been thinking about getting one in the future. Saw one on QVC, and would be great if shooting in a small studio.

I've always heard they're ungodly slow. Never have found out if they've been turbocharged.

The ugly?.............................People thinking that others want to wait for those photos to load. I watched a guy trying to do the "professional" thing with one of those. The clients were getting bored and restless. Not a good approach.

The Eye-Fi is fine if you want data transfer and aren't in a hurry, but before jumping in a user should do their homework and make sure the capabilities meet their needs.
