Thanks Terri. I think I’ve finally found “my” version of loose. I painted this one today. I think I’m going to get rid of the cloud because it seems out of place and then maybe bring the sunrise light up more above the horizon. Would love your thoughts on that if you care to share them.

I just love your strokes - so big and purposeful. Very cool!

The cloud doesn't bother me, and it looks like you were just adding an element to your sky. But - the background might be stronger without it, I agree. Your flowers are so gorgeous, if you kept the same colors across the background they might pop a little more.

Girl, you're making my fingers twitch a little for my oil pastels. Stop that!

Beautiful, Sharon. The cloud is fine. I used to make them a bit more subdued in oil by scrubbing a “dry” bristle brush with white, after I had painted the sky. I’ve used the same technique with distant trees. I don’t know if this works with acrylic.

I think I’m going to remove it. I had a and tried using Lightroom AI and I like it better without. Not sure why that didn’t occur to me yesterday. I may add a few very wispy sunrise colored clouds instead.

I think it's an improvement - beautiful palette! Has a lot of depth as @CherylL was saying. Do you like it better?
