You didn't actually ask for C&C, and further, you've given us no frame of reference for C&C. Was this a posed shot in-studio, a chanc shot at a concert you attended, or a deliberate shot at an event you were paid to cover? Knowing the situation will greatly affect the type and validity of C&C we can provide.

It was taken at a live concert. All natural lighting.

Fair enough; for that sort of event it's adequate. The "up the nose" aspect is rarely the most flattering one, and additionally, watch your crop; the missing part of the left had really detracts from the overall image.

Its okay. I would clone out that light and that spot and just have the red. The yellow light is distracting.

The light is projecting downward, which leads to the face which is in focus, slowly leading down to his chest and guitar, which progressively gets blurrier. That's my train of thought on the direction...

Its so bright that I focus on it instead of his face. And the rest of the shot is pretty much red so I agree with DiskoJoe that it would be a better shot if you cloned out the light.

Just my .02 cents.

Yeah I have to disagree... Here's one I took of him that did not have any background lights. Doesn't have the same "pop" in my opinion:
