i was going for a simple but dramatic effect here, but i think the plain background stands out too much. i'd really appreciate comments/critique particularly regarding the barckground. thanks for looking.

Interesting shot. I think you've nailed the dramatic look but I think I agree with you on the background. Try changing the colour in PS.

i just noticed that. i think it might have been a tendon in her neck.
