'83 grad here. can't believe how fast that time went by...

good thing i don't believe in marking my age with the number of years that have passed;

i well and truly believe i am just now coming into my prime. hope i live long enough to enjoy it.

Blondie rocks(ed)! Joan Jett and the Blackhearts- I Love Rock and Roll!
The mortar had yet to cure in Another Brick in the Wall...

i distinctly remember Reagan being shot, i can even tell you the color of the couch i was sitting on when i saw the newsflash. (no CNN those days)

anyone remember Porky's?

I'm an old-timer too! :cheer:

And damn proud of it, I might add. I wouldn't be nearly the entertaining smartass you've come to love if I were still young & dumb. :D

I love rock n roll/so put another dime in the jukebox, bay-bay (OW!)

:LOL: This thread cracks me up.

put another dime in the jukebox, bay-bay (OW!)

if nothing else, this one line dates us, eh?

a dime? how much for a song on the jukebox now, $.50? $.75?

i always loved Joan Jett's version of "Little Drummer Boy," too. which actually reminds me of another all time favorite 80's movie- Class. remember that one? Rob Lowe's break out movie...

As hard as I'm trying to remember that movie...I don't. But "Rob Lowe's breakout movie" wouldn't have been much of a draw for me, either. :wink:

Is there anything you can get for a dime anymore?? :roll: Nary a stamp, nary a song... ho hum. Coins.

heeheehee.

just another double entendre that would get us off into all kinds of trouble.... :eyebrows:
