Hey everyone,

I went on a beautiful fall hike on Sunday and found this beautiful little scene. I wasn't able to get the results I wanted, so I decided to try yet another HDR. For the most part, I like how it turned out, but the shadowed area in the middle looks a little weird. I can't tell if I'm looking too much into it, or if I did something wrong when I did my HDR.

This photo is from five exposures.

Best exposure with no HDR.

Thanks all!

Meh, neither really does anything for me. Sorry

This is 1 single image you made 5 different exposures for to create the final result?

if yes, then: you did something wrong when you did your HDR.

Yes it is. I wanted a very subtle HDR that didn't look super fake. I processed it just enough to see everything. Why does it look like I did something wrong? I'll post the original five later today so you all can give me better examples if you'd like.

Thanks!
