My daughter was tired of traditional portraits and picked out some pink and purple gels, found a chair and asked me to take a picture of her jumping down from it. At least we have someone with a creative mind in the family...

Very nice.
I usually shoot whatever comes into the little ones heads. I may be able to nail the shot but their creativity blows me away.

This time I almost got it right. I just didn't have enough time to adjust the flashes, and had to settle for ISO 500, so it's not as clean as I could've been.

Anyway, it turned out way better than the previous shots, where I did the planning.

Love her concept and your lighting/focus/shutter speed and dof. Wish a bit more of her face was visible. Maybe next time, if you plan to try this again, have her jump at a the tiniest angle toward you?
