Oh man! The second one, with the phone held up is simply outstanding! I am serious....an outstanding image from a fashion show. I love the many details in it! The Gary Fong diffuser guy! The woman with an iPhone across from you. The other phone being held in a hand. All the photographers! The video light. Brilliant shot. Seriously--a marvelous shot, of this, the modern era!

Liked the pictures, especially the second one, this is the first time i see a fashion show that permits flash photography

Actually, the lighting is very poor. I had to figure a way to compensate the light using a hot shoe flash.

Ah cool cool. It just looked like the light was coming from above and the ceiling is too high to bounce off of so I thought that was the light they had set up haha.

Ah cool cool. It just looked like the light was coming from above and the ceiling is too high to bounce off of so I thought that was the light they had set up haha.

I set the angle on my speedlight to 60 degree, and I cranked the power pretty high. Light from the speedlight bounced from the ceiling and illuminated the models in angle. The challenge was the recycle time lagging, so I had to use the flash sparingly. I had to get the right timing and shoot at the right moment to get perfect shots. Also, the batteries got really hot. I had to keep replacing these.
