i know it could have been done better with the use of some sort of lighting equipment but since i don't posses any i tried to make the best without it...

While I've never quite understood the connection with the extreme eye makeup in these shoots, these are very nice photos.

The first one had some great potential, if not for the cutting off of the feet.

Next time bring a reflector and see if you can eliminate as many shadows as possible. Or make them work for you. Sometimes can be interesting to have shadows on parts of the face.

Agree about the make-up but what can you do in these situations. Everyone has their 'vision' unfortunately.

the make-up was decided by the designer of the clothes... and since it was her behind on the line with the diploma project i did it her way...

i noticed to late that i cut of her feet

I had a reflector with me but no one to hold it for me... the designer was dressing and undressing the girls and the other photographer was shooting the girl that i was not shooting at that moment...

I'm in Romania, and the location is actually the back yard of the Art University. the models were great and were very easy to work with, so easy that even i got good shots

the answer is a simple one: human nature.

the diploma is graded by a committee of 5 people where 3 are male and 2 female... and it is a well known fact that the male evaluators like to see a little skin and give like 5% more to the grade if they do see it

so we did what we could to show them
