My first ever successful (kinda) pan shot..............
What do you think? Is the contrast too harsh?

I like the contrast, but I don't think I would have tinted it. Nice shot though!

I didn't give it very much tint, but I prefer it that way on this shot. Going for the cold, industrial feel. Here is the orig. with only minor contrast boost. Which do you think is better?

I personally like the first. Below the train seems distracting to me in the second. Good shot! Panning is def a hard technique

I've tried my hands at passing trains of late, and none of my experimental "panning shots" came even close to this one.

By the way, despite the "cold industrial feel" that you aimed at in turning your original photo this blue I like the warmth of the sunlight creeping up from underneath the train. But that is a personal thing. You certainly get close to what you wanted to achieve with the edited version (i.e. the first pic shown here).

I like the shot, the first works best with the colder tones and the highlight lowered slightly. Good pan!
