I think you passed the barrier from high key to a bit over exposed. Her face looks okay but I dont like what the lighting is doing to the fur. It needs a bit more shadow for detail. A little more space on the right to get the whole sleeve in the shot would have been nice too.

I do not agree with Disco Joe (again). I don't find this photograph to be overexposed, as a matter of fact, as far as high key's go this one is quite well done. There aren't any clipped whites on the subject.

Nice work, Mac-man. What was your lighting setup for this?

P.S. How have you been? Haven't seen you post in a while.

I like the lighting here, and on my (corrected) monitor the fur and skin show up as well exposed, BUT, the background is off-white, in fact, slightly grey. Nicely shot.

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I do wonder if I am the only person who likes the way I shoot.

As for lighting setup, we had just been shooting a low key session against black so I had two 5' strip boxes on the strobes. I just took the grids off the strip boxes, positioned them for flat lighting and added two strobes with umbrellas to fill the white backdrop. The umbrella strobes were two stops higher and I think I could have gone a little more as the backdrop is a little toward grey.

I made a donation to the "Faux Fur Fund" to lessen the guilt I feel over its use. If it makes the situation any better, I purchased the fur used, at a second hand store.

Yep, I was just mentioning in my reply to o hey tyler, that I should have gone one stop higher. I think based on some of the shots, that one of the strobes may not have been firing. You can see it the first shot that it is more grey on the right side of the image. In the second shot, I dodged the background by one stop but don't like the effect along the edges.

Agreed, the exposure looks fine to me. And I don't care about the sleeve being somewhat cut off in the 2nd one. If you included the whole sleeve than you would have to add space on the other side to keep the face in the same basic area so that then you would have to add some space to the bottom so as to... Won't work

The thing I'm not too fond of is the model's facial expression.
