Fave Bands...

From the moment a friend handed me something to smoke 20some years ago and said, "you have to listen to this..." to today, my favorite band would be Pink Floyd and my all time favorite guitarist would be David Gilmour.

Note, I don't smoke that particular "stuff" anymore, nor have I in many many years. And what he wanted me to listen to was none other than Comfortably Numb.

As much as I love Floyd and think Gilmour is the greatest guitar soloist, my 2nd favorite band is Led Zeppelin and I would put Jimmy Page on top for the best overall guitarist.

I have every Floyd album and every Zeppelin album. I can't say that about any other bands.

so lemme get this str8 you would put jimmy page over zack wylde, steve vie, yngwie malmsteen, stevey ray vauhn, van halen. shall i continue?
dont get me wrong i love zepplin and floyd but i think you should watch this.

Amen, Kalm. Ygnwie always kicked ass, and zakk and him sound a bit alike. I had a few Joe Satriani CDs a while back, but some jerk stole em

have you heard Bloodlined Calligraphy, old Despised Icon, or Archenemy?

They have female vocalists and are all pretty good in their own rights.
