Favorite Camera

I do not have a favorite camera. At certain time, the smartphone camera is my favorite. To take macro shots and low light shots, my Canon 6D is. For travel light, I prefer the Sony RX10 since it cover between 24mm to 600mm. Decent photo but need to be pocket size, then the Sony RX100 is the favorite at that time.

I have 2; the Nikon D850 and the Nikon D500. I use the D500 for wildlife / birding the the D850 for most everything else, but equally important are your favorite lenses.

The appropriate body for the mission at hand.

Low light, indoor sports, landscapes, wet rainy conditions: 6D Mark II.

Bright light, telephoto, outdoor sports, wildlife, traveling, dry conditions: T7i

I also ended up with a 50D and 30D which I use as backups or in riskier situations.

I actually spend more time figuring out which lens(es) to bring than which body(ies).

Depends on what, where, when, Canon 60d, canon 600d. And if I could afford it the canon 6d
600d is light, good for on holiday where weight is an issue, 60d for planned photography time where I have planned to have time just to take photos As for the 6d well a ff would........ at this time of no great advantage and there are bills to pay

My 4x5 Technical Field Camera. I've been happily working with it for over 30 years now.

That geared head looks nice.
Every time I am "fine tuning" the adjustment of my tripod, I think I should have gotten a geared head.

I just have to get out and shoot with my film cameras.

My Pentax KP- love it! I have two.

My favorite digitals are the Pentax K-70 and an old Minolta Dimage A2; a 2/3 sensor, 8 Mpixel "bridge"camera that takes extraordinary quality photos using an "extra fine" jpeg mode. It also has RAW and TIFF and is the most user friendly camera I own. You only have to go into the(small) menu when you want to change a basic setup. The Pentax features Pixel Shift Resolution which I use quite a bit, seeing as I shoot mainly nature/landscape. Obviously PSR doesn't work on moving creatures, but it's hell on plants and landscape. It also features an Astrophotography mode which takes all the guess work out of night shots.
LOL I still have an old A1 (almost identical to A2)! The first sensor-shift camera. Also have a K-70, best value in DSLRs. TBH, I have just about every DSLR Pentax has produced, except the FF and MF.

Out of my many many cameras (all film) my favorite is my Pentax MX.
I wish my old MX still worked. I should get it repaired, it's a classic.

My Fuji x100t, which replaced my x100. It travels with me everywhere.
