feeling a little tropical?

Up here in BC Canada we are in the middle of a heat wave. While lying in the yard trying to cool off with a big margarita, I saw these echinachea - and they looked like some bizarre palm trees. Maybe it was the heat, maybe the tequilla, either way - here they are!
