Feisol tripod & RRS Leveling Base Compatiblity?

Looking for help with the compatibility of the RRS TA-3 leveling base and a Feisol tripod CT-3372. I'm looking for a leveling base for my Feisol and would prefer the TA-3 base over RRS's universal leveling base, but I've heard conflicting reports of rather or not the TA-3 will work on Feisol. A very random question I'm sure, but maybe there's a chance someone has tried this combo?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't; as long as it's got the appropriate 3/8 or 1/4NC threads, it should work just fine.

The TA-3 extends down through the center of the tripod, removing the center plate. This is where I get conflicting reports if it works only with RRS tripods or if the Feisol center plate is the same.
