OKay this has to be a real curious question in a really curious place for it but.... I am one of the many who scan film. I never planned to scan color but it seems to be the coming thing so I bought a color flat bed film scanner. It scans up to 5x7 negatives and was dirt cheap. So is the software but it works pretty well except for the white balance problem.
Now I have a demo negative scanning program that works pretty good for auto white balance but not a bit better for the actual scan of negatives. The best color I get is from the scanner software then the negative program auto white balance. It is actually dead on color wise.
So what's the problem you ask... Well the demo program has sever limitations so I need to either pay for it or find another auto white balance freeware program. Since I don't really like anything else about the demo I am looking for a freeware auto white balance program;
Question..
Does anyone know of a good AUTO white balance program that is freeware.
thanks..
