Filmmaker looking for speed rail in NY

Hey I'm in NY and I'm trying to find somewhere to buy speed rail. Ideally 8-10'. So far everything I've found is either rental or is only available online and must be shipped from elsewhere, requiring me to pay more for shipping than the actual cost of the speed rail.

I imagine there must be some to be found locally, but I have yet to find it.

Have you thought about DIY'ing one together? I've seen a LOT of really great and inexpensive builds on Youtube that are VERY easy to make.
