Finally got my first set of goggles!

Too bad it was a green spider on a green leaf, but I finally got close and got "ok" focus. It's not a frontal, but it just wouldn't do as I had asked.

Thanks. I couldn't get a head on shot. Every time I turned the leaf to get a head on shot, the spider would run to the underside, and I would have to turn the leaf again. This went on for about ten minutes before I just said screw it and took it at this angle.

Looks heavily noise reduced so it's removing all the detail that macro shooting is supossed to capture.

And I agree with Braineack, there is a lot of detail missing on some places it looks like its painted.

I would agree that it's not as sharp as I'd like for a macro, but it IS an improvement, and macro can take a while to master,so kudos to you for the improvement!

I actually LIKE the green on green aspect of the photo, and I like the angle as well. I know, I know--we all want the "cool" straight on shot! But in my experience, spiders are rarely all that accommodating to my desires for a particular pose. You just have to work with what the spider gives you, and I really like this perspective, and composition. My only nitpick as far as the composition goes is that I wish its front legs weren't cut off.
