Finally Got to Play with My New Flash - Skate Park Shots

well I got a chance to go out tonight and play with my new flasha sc-29 cord heres a shot of antoine

the first pic the flash is way to strong/harsh. it looks like you exposed for the ambient light so you might need to lower the power of the flash. His waist up looks like hes photoshopped onto the pic, as if he was standing in front of a green screen. What settings where you using? aperture,shutter,flash power, flash zoom etc..

I agree they do look a little weird like either the flash was way too bright because you exposed for the sky or the post PS work was too much. I'd suggest lowering the flash as well.
