Here is a few shots I took of some fireworks were were doing for July 1st.

I just like the first one cuz the big dipper is right behind us..
It took a lot of playing around with the settings to end up with these. there were a lot of craptastic pictures....

feel free to CC although already know the composition was pretty bad...
I had to pick a general area cuz i didn't know what was going to happen

I love it and I hate it... I suppose i have set my expectations too high..
I think a lot of it has to do with the glass I am using...
You can only expect so much out of kit lens' and what not...

I am sure once I get a bit more experiance in, things will start to look better... Plus I just picked up a few more toys, like a flash, a 50mm 1.8 and a difusser cone.... this should help a bit...

I am really learning to appretiate the stabalizaion cuz the 50mm doesn't have it.. I thought i would be able to take great shots in low light without having to bump up the ISO, but you end up with blurry shots...

It helps with taking video in darker lighting though...
