Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Yes!!!! I recently posted some pictures of our 150th Anniversary equipment and it was taken down. I received a very nice personal message explaining the firearm ban...

Since I read this I'm going to repost my pictures.

I bought the Tamaron 70-200 VC and these were my real "Lets see how good the lens is" with my D-7100 and softboxes...

I'd like to see the whole rifle in at least one shot.
Also on pic 4, I would like that a little wider so that the corner of the hand gun isn't cut off.

I really like the staging for these though.

Nice Henry by the way.

We had to have a minimum order for Henry to put them into production and enough people ponied up the money for them to be manufactured. There are less than 300 of this particular run so I have a collectors item.

By the way you have good taste in firearms!!!!

I took a couple with the whole rifle in the frame. The rifle was so much longer than the rest everything else was really small.

I tried spreading the rest out but it didn't look "right" so I took pictures of my subject as best as I could...

Nice! I love looking at gun porn.

Shoot along the rifle, and allow the barrel to recede into the distance, while remaining in-frame?

That is a great suggestion... I will try that.

I like the idea of showing the MagLite on in one of the frames. I guess the idea here was to highlight the "Old", AKA the Henry repeating rifle, with the "new", the Glock, right?

Nice, better than any firearm photo I've taken!

Yep that is correct. The Sheriff's office was 150 years old in 2011 so we tried to bring the old and the new together...

For a pleasant surprise, I was surprised the light from the flashlight was still visible with how powerful the SB-910's flashes are.

I not a gun owner but when I look at a rifle, I want to see all of it not just the breach (is that what it;s called?). Also, the placing of the rifle and hand gun aimed opposite to each other pulls my eye in two different directions. It might be better to aim them the same way. I also think the shots are too tight. The weapons are too close to the edges of the photos. It seems you wanted to focus on the details. But the photos need more breathing room. Maybe you could do both types. A long view and a close view. Good luck.
