Firefly Sensor Cleaning

anyone own or ever used a firefly sensor cleaner??

is it worth the $200?? i mean if it works well enough and lasts awhile it seems like a good alternative to sending your sensor to be cleaned or even paying for swabs and solutions.

any thoughts??

my guess is it wont remove dust thats welded to the sensor. I think evetually you will need a wet solution.

yeah i was thinking that, like it really depends on how powerful the air coming out of it is to blow off harder particles of dust. like even if it does have that charged ion stuff and whatnot what use is it if it cant even blow off certain pieces of dust

harder particles of dust flying around on your sensor or AA filter can easily result in scratches. happened to my d70s.
