This photo. And yes, I think you took that one so early - it may well be part of your "lost lot". (A shame!)

yeah, thats one of the lost batch. And im really not sure what i photographed there. Could be anything from a lamp, camera or a window.

The day in Hamburg (Monday, 26 May)

That funny lens without camera which caused so much wondering among the crowd ... well, I THINK Alex has always known the answer, really, but just didn't let on...!

Some things as they fast went by while our harbour tour boat went past, like the roof of the entrance to the Old Elbe Tunnel, which has apparently been cleaned and is back to it's copper shine, all the (much better known to everyone!) verdigris has been polished off ...

I wonder if they plan to also polish all the other corroded copper roofs of "Landungsbrücken" ... will look "all wrong" for a while then!

Tony takes a photo!
With that tiny, inconspicious lens of his.
Could it have been his photo of the "alien eggs"??? These?

Alex, of course, takes his photos with an all tidy, orderly face... ;)

And Daan is still very happy, for little did he know at the time that all his Hamburg photos would get lost ... poor Daan. It is a shame!!!

Hertz cannot decide whether NOT to...

... take a photo or whether to...
2555769596_5911af06f7_o.jpg

... take a photo, after all?

With this model, there should be no hesitating, should there?

Okay, next time I go to make bunny ears on someone, slap my hand away. I hate when people do that, and there I went and did it myself! A nice shot of Graham ruined by my shenanigans

Finally - getting to the end of my trip now...

After shouting at Davey Jones, we headed off in search of food and came across a fish restaurant - it was almost like being at the seaside!

With Anne Marie coming from the posh end of Blackpool, Chris chose a cup of tea with his meal - rather than the mugs you get down the Golden Mile (that works on so many different levels for those who've been there) problem occurred when he realised that milk was an optional extra, still it looked dark and mysterious enough to take a photo of it

tpfg-262.jpg

Alex on the other hand - being the international playboy that he is, ordered some bubbly

tpfg-263.jpg

Everyone studied the menu and took a while to decide on what they wanted - I think Anty order a hamburger or something

tpfg-264.jpg

After the meal, Corinna gave up on the bill and Anty took over - "ok, who ordered Fräulein to go?" Sky wondered how that had made it onto the food menu

tpfg-265.jpg

Anyways, the bill paid we headed back onto the mean streets of Hamburg, which in true German mid workday afternoon fashion, were absolutely packed with people going about their daily business

tpfg-266.jpg

Eventually, we found a mix of business people, happy people and TPF people all mingling in the same spot

tpfg-267.jpg

We dove back down into the underground - missing a train as I had to get some cash out to pay the rent although I still owe Hertz and Alex for pizza!

tpfg-268.jpg

Along the way to the Rathaus, I managed to take a shot that incorporated both high and low key in one place

tpfg-269.jpg

Then it was time for our swansong in order to get back to Bremen airport, Ryanair and torrential rain in the uk.

tpfg-270.jpg

tpfg-271.jpg

Auf Wiedersehen TPF, Auf Wiedersehen....
