First attempt at a portrait with my new flash

Got my SB600 this weekend and I was dying to try it out. Shot with 50mm at f/1.8 on a D300s with lighting provided by a SB600 at camera-right with a full CTO.

just wondering what would happen if you dont use CTO gel and just adjust the WB? Is it really necessary to use the gel? Nice photo.

@Schwettylens: I probably could have got the same effect using just WB. Here it was a combination of both. Now I'm curious to know if I could have got the same effect using WB alone.

I guess i-TTL? With my D300s as the commander unit.
