First Attempt at Macro

First pics with my Nikon Z6II and first attempt at Macro. I still have a lot to learn about the camera and photography.

with the Z6 you have a focus assist to help getting the focus right...(peaking highlights)in the custom settings menu. the focus peaking gets trickier the more you stop down...try f/8 and then F/11 to see what I mean...hope this helps

When I'm hand holding close ups I use CONTINUOUS FOCUS as I tend to move back and forth a bit.
