First attempt

please give me some feedback regarding this first photo shoot with my strobe. I shot the baby on the floor, which didn't work well with my strobe because it wouldn't go low enough, causing me to get improper bounce off of my foam board. The pix I took with a pink backdrop were pretty bad, only the black remotely looked ok. I was shooting with a 300w strobe, ISO 100, F-stop 5.6 shutter speed 320 ( I think).
Any help would be appreciated.
