First class at a college. Eek.

Every class is probably different, but the first part of mine consisted of lecture, then after that it was mostly lab, and photo critiques. Every Thurs (class me tue, thurs) a photo was do out of any of the assignments we chose (portrait, night shot, creative, etc) then critiques were always on the following Tuesday. We only had one test, the final at the end of the semester. It's a lot of work, but if you use your time wisely it's no problem. I learned to start shooting a few rolls and developing them all at the same time to save time by doing two things at once. I'm sure your class will be different, some teachers lecture more while other prefer hands on training...

i'm still in HS and i've taken every photo class and have taken photo12 3 times. i learn something new every time. i'd say take some local courses our of college as well or find a local wedding photographer to apprentice you. that might help break the nervousness.
