First close-up with my new camera!

Hey there...I'm a newbie around here and just wanted to share my first close-up with my new Nikon D80 and 60mm micro lens. I am pretty happy with the camera and the lens so far!

I like the idea for the shot, but I would have used a smaller aperture to keep more of te subject in focus-- especially since it's on a black background.

Glad you like our camera, that's an important relationship, obviously.

Thanks...It was actually just a quick pic while hiking with my son. Had his tiny toddler hands not been all over everything I would have had more time to play!
