First day lily of the summer

These guys are probably my favorite flowers in our yard, though they've normally flowered by now. However, our unseasonably cold weather has slowed them down. This is the first one to open.

Beautiful flower and I like the first pic. Black and white doesn't really work here given that a large appeal of flowers is their color. The third one is better than 2 though since it focuses more on the physical shapes in the flower. Thanks for sharing and sorry if you weren't looking for c&c lol.

No problem, I was more just mucking around with the black and white for the heck of it.

I disagree about the black and white. I think that it makes the texture and design of the flower pop and it gives it a more original feel. Good shooting.
