First DSLR photo attempts

Using a Nikon D3200 with a 18-55 lens, really enjoying it so far. Looking to buy a good quality tripod and remote shutter release next. First time using a Nikon camera so im still finding my way about

Good going! I loved that sculpture when I saw it for the first time here on TPF maybe eight months ago! Such a cool sculpture. You've got a powerful camera and an amazing built-in film processing lab in your d-slr. Enjoy this wonderful technology and enjoy the d-slr world!

Thanks Derrel, il make sure to get some proper photographs of the sculptures when i get a good tripod and its not minus zero outside, im trying to pay more attention to the position of the subject in the photograph now and a remote trigger will hopefully help with image quality too : )
